A WA author has teamed up with the Children’s Book Council of Australia to launch a new initiative called ‘Reading for the Heart and Mind’. Author Josh Langley told 6PR’s Michaela Carr the initiative helps children connect with characters they can relate to.
Author and illustrator Josh Langley said for writers the fear of rejection could be paralysing.
“I know a lot of people who even refuse to submit a manuscript to a publisher for fear of that rejection,” Langley said.
After failing high school “dismally”, being on the dole for two years and working in various radio stations, Ferguson Valley resident Josh Langley is living example of a risk paying off.
