A PRESENTATION INSPIRING YOUNG LIVES
The Being You is Enough presentation was developed in conjunction with teachers and can be used as part of the Australian Curriculum, covering many health and wellbeing aspects of Health and Physical Education, as well as connecting with pastoral care policies and practises.
With so many pressures and distractions affecting children these days, it’s hard for them to know who they really are and what the important priorities in life are. Being You is Enough is a 40 minute presentation for primary school kids aged between 7 and 11 to help them with issues of self esteem and emotional wellbeing.
- Personal identity
- Positive self esteem
- Emotional and Physical wellbeing
- Creativity and imagination
- Coping with social and emotional changes as you grow up
- Empathy and respect
- Positive self talk
- Seeking appropriate support
Duration: 40 to 50 minutes each session.
Content: Fun and interactive Powerpoint show where Josh invites students to discuss relevant topics and apply critical thinking. The last 15 minutes involve a drawing exercise where the students get to flex their imagination.
